Situated in quiet und colourful walking distrit where you can enjoy tipical spanish gastronomi "tapas" and nightlife, also located in the same district you will find old monuments like the old church called Santa Maria daten back to the 16th Century and San Nicolas 17th century, only a couple of steps away from the famous Santa Barbara castle within the perimeter of the castle, you will find "musa" a museum of Contempoprary Art and MARQ, the Museum of Arqueology, are located in the surrondings of the castle. if you are fan of the Spanish Corridas, then yoy will definitely enjoy visiting the "Museum Taurino" with a permanent exihition around the art of Corridas. obviously the sea is at five minutes walking distance from the apartament, namely the pleasant docks of Alicante, known for hosting the Volvo Ocean Race every year. There you can enjoy a fresh breeze, some of the best restaurants, the casino and additional bars. A particularity of the docks is the possibility to catch a connection boat to Tabarca Island, famous for it's scuba diving, beach and seasonal but not least, the Postiguet beach, in the very heart of Alicante, makes it easier to go for a swim or just enjoy the sun. Right next to the beach you can also choose to take the Tram heading towards Benidorm. On your way you will be able to enjoy wonderful views, and stop at some of the nicest beaches the Costa Blanca has to offer, Playa de San Juan, Campello, Playa Paraíso among others.
