We found a trusted mechanic, we reported the residence ensuring two-day stay, he took us to the supermarket to do the shopping for two more days, took us back to the mechanic when the car was repaired and made sure the phone that we were able to take the ferry from Palermo to Naples. What can I say, I have already recommended this holiday to my dearest relatives!
