Mylène and Anne invite you to spend a weekend, a week or more in their little corner of paradise. A cosy holiday for nature lovers. A place where history and calm go hand in hand with wide open spaces. Grand Courdeault is close to tourist sites such as La Rochelle, le Marais Poitevin, beaches and coastal islands whilst offering boundless views of the surrounding fields and countryside.
Look out for the parading peacocks which wander freely around the site, meet the farm animals, cows, chickens and cats and enjoy the heated and secure shared swimming pool. The gîte has four bedrooms and is classed 3 stars.

Accueillis par quelques paons faisant la roue, petits et grands pourront faire connaissance avec les animaux de la ferme (vaches, poules, chats) et s'adonner aux joies de la baignade dans la piscine commune sécurisée et chauffée.

Chestnut Tree House is 100 metres away from our 3 other gîtes. It is along the track lined by chestnut trees has a private garden and shares a large communal garden space in which there is a swimming pool, a swing for the kids and a ping pong table and you can even have a BBQ. Access is easy with a 4-lane highway linking Niort to La Rochelle or discover the Marais Poitevin (15 minutes drive).
For all your grocery needs there are shops 3kms away in Mauzé s/ Mignon.

Grand Courdeault is 3kms from the nearest train station and 10kms from the nearest TGV (High speed) train station. It is 15 minutes from the A10 motorway, 1km from the 4 lane highway between La Rochelle and Niort and 1km from the Rochefort road.
It is 30 minutes from La Rochelle airport where you can hire a car and 15 minutes from Le Marais Poitevin.
