Located in upper part of peaceful little village of Arpavon in the Drôme Provençale in Les Baronnies Provençales Regional Nature park. A remote site yet within easy reach of major attractions in the area: 20 min. from Nyons, 30 min. from Rémuzat and Buis-les-Baronnies (famous for climbing sites and Via Ferrata), 40 min. from Le Pas des Ondes lake (swimming, fishing). Be sure to visit Les Baronnies (winding gorges, plants and wildlife, gastronomy, Provençal markets, hilltop villages). Hiking/riding on the doorstep (topo-guides available). Le Chalet Vert has practical lay-out, use of space optimised to create functional and well ordered accommodation. Ground floor: open-plan living room with kitchenette, lounge area (sofa) opening onto attractive, shady covered terrace (occupants of other chalet may pass close to terrace), bedroom (double bed), shower room/WC. 1st floor: attic mezzanine, accessed via open-tread staircase with half-width alternating steps (maximum height 1.4m) with single bed & pull-out bed below, ideal for children.
