This is a ground-level holiday house with a private, green plot of land and a picturesque view of the village and the mountainous surroundings. It is ideal for a relaxing and restorative holiday in the countryside. You can benefit from a very quiet and secluded location at the end of a cul-de-sac, above the village of St. Martin de Valamas, to the west of Valence and to the south of Lyon. The Département Ardèche is characterised by a sunny microclimate in mountainous surroundings with abundant nature and many mountain streams.

You are bound to find a suitable place to sunbathe on deckchairs within 1000m² site with greenery. The garden furniture allows you to dine outdoors. Outside under the oak trees in the eastern part of the property and under the chestnut trees in the southwestern area, you can comfortably have your meals. You can sit under the shady leaves of the trees and have a good time. Nature lovers will love it here. If you are travelling with small children or pets, note that the site is not fenced.

The holiday house was completed in 2002 and provides a modern interior for a comfortable and carefree holiday. The living space of 66m² comprises a living room-kitchen flooded with daylight with an open lounge area, a hallway, with two bedrooms, a bathroom and a separate WC branching off from it. Both bedrooms have a double bed with bedside tables on either side with reading lamps. The window of the second bedroom affords a picturesque view over the village and the mountains. There is storage space for your luggage. In a third, smaller bedroom another 80 cm wide extra bed is available. In this room there is no wardrobe. The centrepiece of the house is the living room-kitchen with a floor-to-ceiling window front, with a 6-metre southern side and a 3-metre eastern side, creating the impression of being in a conservatory or outdoors. These windows also offer an extensive view of nature whilst enjoying meals together or relaxing after a day trip. During the evening, a crackling fire in the fireplace exudes a cosy atmosphere and there are comfortable rocking chairs and a modern, light grey sofa (double-seater). There is a wooden dining table for six people to dine together. The kitchen has quality appliances for convenient self-catering, including a dishwasher, oven with pyrolysis for self-cleaning, an induction hob, fridge, coffee machine and toaster. There is a TV corner with a large flatscreen TV with satellite channels. The modern fittings include under-floor heating and additional radiators. Bed linen and hand towels are included.

Beautiful hikes start right on the doorstep, with waymarked hiking trails in the surroundings. The area also offers cycle tours, swimming in idyllic river courses, lakes and swimming pools, canoe trips, mushroom and wild fruit gathering, tasting of local products such as goat's cheese or the traditional caillette pastry rolls. The nearest shops are in the nearest village with restaurants and cafés 1000 metres away.

The beds are made. Towels are available in the closets. In the kitchen towels are available and there is a built-in dishwasher. Guests can use the washing machine, which is located in the garage next to the washbasin. In the garage there is also a small freezer. All these services can be used at no extra charge. The water consumption is also included in the rental price.
