Beautiful house in a really beautiful area, the view is magnificent! Nice pool, very friendly owners who are very helpful. Car is handy, although the bus stops at the door and the bus connections are perfectly arranged in Madeira. Excellent restaurant within walking distance, as is a good supermarket. Extra compliments for Fatima, which kept the house clean and provided us with towels and a radiant mood, and when it came out so well getting one washed the dishes. Nothing but praise!
Prachtig huis in een werkelijk prachtige omgeving, het uitzicht is grandioos! Prima zwembad, zeer vriendelijke eigenaren die zeer behulpzaam zijn. Auto is wel handig, alhoewel de bus voor de deur stopt en de busverbindingen perfect geregeld zijn op Madeira. Uitstekend restaurant op loopafstand, net als een prima supermarkt. Extra complimenten voor Fatima, die het huis schoonhield en ons voorzag van handdoeken en een stralend humeur, en als het zo uitkwam ook nog even snel de afwas deed.

Lease corresponds to the description, charming and very sociable owners, pity the living room ... be buried. blind to the outside. Some adjustments are needed, kitchen table cupboards + provision for, catch towels bathroom. Bring a water heater accelerator ... no hot water quickly. We are pleased with our stay despite these "small defects ".
La location correspond au descriptif, des propriétaires charmants et très sociables, dommage que la pièce à vivre soit enterrée…. sans visibilité sur l'extérieur.
Quelques aménagements sont indispensables, table de cuisine + placards pour provision, accroches serviettes salle de bain.
Apporter un accélérateur sur chauffe eau… pas d'eau chaude rapidement.
Nous sommes satisfaits de notre séjour malgré ces "petits défauts".

From this house you have a lovely view on the centre of Funchal, Luiz can indicate where to go and what to visit. Nice restaurants have aslo been on our menu and there are lots of occasions to eat also recommended by our host.
No effort is too much for this multi language speaking lovely Portugees.
If ever we were to go back to Funchal we know where would be staying!

It may be noted that the private pool the zwembas of the owners in their garden. Hereof may be made to your hearts content usage. The holiday accommodation has no terrestrial or anything like that, if one wishes to be out, then that is a little further down the garden of the owners. Luis & Isabelle are extremely friendly people who put everything in its power to give you. A wonderful holiday
Opgemerkt mag worden dat het prive zwembad het zwembas van de eigenaren is in hun tuin. Hiervan mag naar hartelust gebruik gemaakt worden.
De vakantieaccomodatie kent geen terres of iets dergelijks, indien men buiten wenst te zijn, dan is dat ietsje verderop in de tuin van de eigenaren.
Luis & Isabelle zijn buitengewoon vriendelijke mensen die alles in het werk stellen om je een prachtige vakantie te bezorgen.

In August 2012, we have enjoyed a wonderful holiday in Madeira. In addition, we have made use of one of the bungalows at Casa do Poco. Arriving at the bungalows we were warmly received by Isabel, Luis and their sweet daughter Vitoria.
We were warmly welcomed with mint tea and Bolo de Mel. Luis took time for us to take. The highlights of the island with the map of Madeira
The bungalows are equipped with all technical facilities. The cleaning lady does several times a week, a bungalow completely clean. And the clean pool is gorgeous. The barbecue is great and fun to use. Outside the bungalow Casa do Poco has several lovely seating areas with large roof terrace. On the roof terrace you can enjoy a breathtaking view over Funchal and the sea.
Luis and Isabel have done their utmost to make.'s As pleasant as possible for our guests These people are very sweet and very welcoming!

In augustus 2012 hebben wij genoten van een heerlijke vakantie in Madeira. Daarbij hebben we gebruik gemaakt van één van de bungalows van Casa do Poço. Aangekomen bij de bungalows werden we hartelijk ontvangen door Isabel, Luis en hun lieve dochtertje Vitoria.
We werden gastvrij ontvangen met muntthee en Bolo de Mel. Luis nam alle tijd voor ons om met de landkaart van Madeira de highlights van het eiland door te nemen.
De bungalows beschikken over alle facilitaire voorzieningen. De schoonmaakster maakt meerdere malen per week de bungaluw compleet schoon. In en bij het schone zwembad is het heerlijk vertoeven. De stenen barbecue is groot en prettig in gebruik. Buiten de bungalow heeft Casa do Poço diverse heerlijke zitplekjes met een groot dakterras. Op het dakterras kun je genieten van een adembenemend uitzicht over Funchal en de zee.
Luis en Isabel hebben hun uiterste best gedaan om het voor ons als gasten zo aangenaam mogelijk te maken. Deze mensen zijn ontzettend lief en heel erg gastvrij!
Wij danken Luis en Isabel voor het heerlijke verblijf. Vakantie Madeira is voor ons een onvergetelijke ervaring geweest en mochten we ooit weer terugkeren naar Madeira dan zouden we zeker weer kiezen voor Casa do Poço!

Communication for the very nice location. 30% deposit with order and pay on arrival so little money involved is reassuring. Super then home with a happy family to share his knowledge and love of their island. Hire more suitable for a family of 3 because there is no room, a mezzanine. We have a barbecue, swimming pool, views of the bay. Cleaning is done 2 times a week, that's cool. Consider renting a car as it goes Madeira or it goes down but it is never flat ... Thank you Luis and Isabel.

Acompte de 30% à la commande et on paye à l'arrivée donc peu d'argent engagé c'est rassurant.
Super accueil ensuite avec une famille contente de partager ses connaissances et son amour de leur île.
Location plus adaptée pour une famille de 3 personnes car il n'y a pas de chambre mais une mezzanine. On dispose d'un barbecue, de la piscine, une vue sur la baie.
Le ménage est fait 2 fois par semaine, c'est cool.
Pensez à louer une voiture car Madère ça monte ou ça descend mais ce n'est jamais plat...

We had a wonderful holiday at the house of Isabel and Luiz. The location is very central, it's on a hill quit from Funchal, from there you can easily go all around the island. The view is breathtaking, you can not use their garden and pool. We will come back!
