The chalet is about 12 km. from Aosta and 3 km. from Pila but we are just 400 meter from the “Plan Praz” resort by the Aosta- Pila cable car.
In winter you can ski down from the house to the cable car station and then you can go up to Pila by cable car (about 4 minutes) or down to Aosta (less than 15 minutes). From Pila you can ski down to the house.
Depending on how much snow there is and the kind of car you have, you can park your car in front of the chalet or in a parking lot along the Aosta-Pila road, the house being about 200 meters away.
In the end, we are actually on the ski slopes, but away from the car and skier traffic in Pila, and, most important, you can avoid using the car.

One big double bed in the main bedroom, one bedroom with two single beds, a large living room with armchairs and a double sofa bed, kitchen, bathroom (the bathroom has a low ceiling), for up to six people in 90 square meters.

PILA, Aosta, Spazioso appartamento al primo piano di uno chalet bifamiliare, con accesso diretto alle piste, ideale per famiglie, molto tranquillo, circondato da campi e boschi, vista su Monte Bianco, Gran Combin, Monte Rosa.
Siamo a 200 metri dalla strada Aosta-Pila, a 400 metri dalla stazione intermedia di Plan Praz della funivia Aosta-Pila.
Nell'alloggio, che può ospitare sei persone, troverete una grande camera da letto matrimoniale, una camera da letto con due letti singoli, una grande sala soggiorno con poltrone e un divano letto matrimoniale, cucina indipendente, bagno con servizi e vasca (il bagno è mansardato ed ha il soffitto basso), antibagno, corridoio e balcone, per un totale di 90 mq.
E' fornito di attrezzatura completa da cucina, gas a quattro fuochi, forno, microonde, frigo con freezer separato, lavatrice, bollitore, caffettiera, ferro da stiro, asciugacapelli, aspirapolvere, stereo CD, televisione, lettore DVD, wifi, lettino pieghevole per bambini, slitte, bob e piattelli da neve e, ovviamente, cuscini, coperte e piumoni per sei persone.

Siamo comodi da raggiungere, ma siamo un po' isolati, fuori dal traffico e dal rumore di auto e sciatori di Pila, insomma, un posto ideale per una famiglia che vuole una vacanza salutare e tranquilla e, soprattutto, un posto dove si gode lo sci e la montagna.

Getting there
Exit the motorway at AOSTA EST (it is the exit to the town centre), then follow the road signs to Pila; soon after you cross the bridge over the river, the road begins to climb the side of the valley.
After about 14 km., you will arrive at a village called ACQUE FREDDE: in the middle of the first u-bend after the Acque Fredde sign (about 500 m.), you’ll see on your left a road with an open white and red bar, at the end of this road is our house, on the left, with the red shutters.
Arrivando in autostrada da Milano, Torino, Ginevra, si esce dall’autostrada al casello di AOSTA EST e si seguono i cartelli che indicano PILA.
Attraversato il ponte sul fiume Dora, sempre seguendo per PILA, la strada inizia a salire sul fianco della valle; dopo circa 14 km., attraversate numerose frazioni, si arriva ad una frazione chiamata ACQUE FREDDE (EAUX FROIDS). Sul primo tornante dopo il cartello Acque Fredde, proprio al centro del tornante, a sinistra c'è una stradina con una sbarra bianca e rossa alzata, proprio al fondo della strada (200 m.), a sinistra, c’è la casa, quella con gli scuri rossi.
