This is not my first time in this super well located apartment, right on the beach and the big central square, impeccable location. The apartment is large and well equipped. The owner Mrs. M. is very friendly and accommodating. This apartment has already been lived in and it has this charm that other new rentals do not have. You feel like you are on vacation. Ce n'est pas ma première fois dans cet appartement super bien situé, juste au bord de la plage et de la grande place centrale, situation impeccable. L'appartement est grand et bien équipé. La propriétaire Mme M. est très sympathique et arrangeante. Cet appartement a vécu déjà et justement il a ce charme que les autres locations neuves n'ont pas. On s'y sent en vacances. Personnellement je reviendrai c'est + que sûre. 😁😁

We spent two weeks in July with our three children in this beautiful holiday home and absolutely enjoyed it. The house is an old farmhouse that has been modernized. It is tastefully furnished with the perfect balance between old and new. The kitchen is very well equipped. If you like cooking, there is nothing left to be desired in terms of appliances or pots, dishes or similar. Outside you can grill, enjoy the almost park-like garden and eat on the terrace. In bad weather there is the veranda, which is also cozy, and you can spend time with the nice board games available or light a cozy fire in the fireplace. The WiFi connection is also very good. There are two bathrooms and a guest toilet, all of which are furnished to a good standard, as are the bedrooms. The mattresses are also very good, although the double beds are a bit hard. There is enough space for everyone and everyone felt very comfortable. Note if you come from Germany, where this is not so common: the double beds have a large blanket (220x240cm). If you do not have a reference for this, you should ask the landlord in advance.Contact with Bènèdicte (landlady) was always very nice, pleasant and timely. Despite the language barrier (communication in French, which I unfortunately don't speak), it always worked out well thanks to Google Translate. We often planned trips to Veules-les-Roses, 5 km away, as the beach is really beautiful with the chalk cliffs and the stone or sandy beach (depending on the tide). And if you want to go on trips, there are plenty within different distances. In short: We can wholeheartedly recommend the holiday home with its wonderful garden and will certainly be happy to come back again at some point.
Wir haben mit unseren drei Kindern im Juli zwei Wochen Urlaub in diesem wunderschönen Ferienhaus verbracht und es absolut genossen. Das Haus ist ein altes Bauernhaus, das modernisiert wurde. Es ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet mit der perfekten Balance zwischen alt und neu. Die Küche ist super ausgestattet. Wenn man gerne kocht, bleibt kein Wunsch offen, was Geräte oder Töpfe, Geschirr oder ähnliches angeht. Draußen kann man grillen, den fast parkartigen Garten genießen und auf der Terrasse essen. Bei schlechtem Wetter gibt es die Veranda, wo es ebenfalls gemütlich ist, und man kann die Zeit mit vorhandenen schönen Gesellschaftsspielen verbringen oder ein gemütliches Feuer im Kamin anmachen. Auch der WLAN-Anschluss ist sehr gut. Es gibt zwei Bäder und ein Gäste-WC, was alles nach gutem Standard eingerichtet ist, ebenso die Schlafzimmer. Auch die Matratzen sind sehr gut, wenn auch bei den Doppelbetten etwas hart. Raum ist für alle genug da und alle haben sich sehr wohlgefühlt. Zu beachten, wenn man aus Deutschland kommt, wo das nicht so üblich ist: die Doppelbetten haben eine große Decke (220x240cm). Falls man einen Bezug dafür nicht hat, sollte man bei den Vermietern vorher anfragen. Der Kontakt mit Bènèdicte (Vermieterin) war immer sehr nett und angenehm und zeitnah. Trotz Sprachbarriere (Kommunikation auf französisch, was ich leider nicht beherrsche) hat es dank Google-Translate immer prima geklappt. Ausflüge im 5km entfernten Veules-les-Roses haben wir oft eingeplant, da der Strand wirklich schön ist mit den Kreidefelsen und dem Stein-bzw. Sandstrand (je nach Ebbe oder Flut). Und wenn man Ausflüge machen möchte, gibt es genug in unterschiedlichen Entfernungen.
Kurzum: Wir können das Ferienhaus mit wunderbarem Garten aus vollem Herzen weiter empfehlen und werden sicher irgendwann gerne wieder kommen.

Apart from the time which the owners do not control, the rental and its equipment allowed us to have a good time with the family. Lots of walks in the surrounding area, restaurant etc. etc... We rented this gîte with friends at the beginning of May. Everything was as described, very good bedding and great equipment. Quiet, with all shops nearby. Ideally located for hikes and a multitude of visits. Very warm welcome from our host and always available. I highly recommend this cottage.

The owners were very welcoming and available. Everything was well thought out, down to the toilet paper and paper towels. Very practical for traveling light. We were treated to a welcome basket and recommendations for activities to do. The accommodation offers a superb view. The only negative points: - accommodation not very suitable for a family because it is not spacious. - not suitable when looking for a quiet place, because you can hear cars passing by. You also have to have a deep sleep...very early in the morning, you are woken up by the seagulls and the church.

- logement peu adapté pour une famille car il n'est pas spacieux.
- ne convient pas lorsqu'on recherche un endroit au calme, car on entend passer les voitures.
Il faut avoir le sommeil profond également...le matin très tôt, on est réveillé par les mouettes et l'église.
The accommodation is very good, however there is no cold water in the downstairs bathroom (boiling water) and even more detrimental is the inoperative WIFI which was detrimental for 2 people who wanted to work. This observation is all the more regrettable because the previous tenants had reported it and the owner did not do what was necessary to remedy it. Last point, this accommodation is indicated for 8 people and there are only 6 chairs in good condition, those that count are in very poor condition. Please note that the people who take care of reception and departure arrangements are very warm and available.
Le logement est très correct cependant il n'y a pas d'eau froide dans la salle de bain du bas (eau bouillante) et plus préjudiciable encore le WIFI inopérant ce qui a été préjudiciable pour 2 personnes qui souhaitaient travailler. Ce constat est d'autant plus regrettable car les locataires précédents l'avaient signalé et que le propriétaire n'a pas fait le nécessaire pour y remédier. Dernier point ce logement est indiqué pour 8 personnes et il n'y a que 6 chaises en bon état, celles qui font le compte sont en très mauvais état. A noter, que les personnes qui s'occupent des modalités d'accueil et de départ sont très chaleureuses et disponibles.

Trois ans sans la Normandie, sans la mer ..... quelle horreur !
Le bonheur d'être de retour est d'autant plus grand. Cette fois-ci, les grands-parents avec leurs deux petites-filles.
Pour la première fois en automne, avec beaucoup de nouvelles impressions, de nouvelles expériences. Il nous restera le souvenir d'avoir regardé la pluie tomber depuis la piscine couverte, au "sec", comme si elle voulait emporter le monde entier.
Malgré tout, nous avons eu de la chance avec le temps. Lorsque nous sommes restés plus longtemps à l'extérieur, nous avons toujours pu le faire sans parapluie.
Nous avons apprécié la mer dans toutes ses variations : du calme à l'agitation, dans toutes ses nuances, toujours pleine de force élémentaire.
Et toujours le point de repos au milieu, le chalet SUNSET. Confortable, chaud, douillet, complet comme d'habitude. Merci à nos hôtes attentionnés et sympathiques pour ce petit bijou.

We were warmly welcomed by the owner of the gîte who gave us good addresses in Etretat. The cottage, very comfortable and very well equipped, is less than half an hour's walk from the center of Etretat via a pleasant little road. The environment of the accommodation is very nicely landscaped. We had a very pleasant stay there. We recommend this accommodation

Le gîte, très confortable et très bien équipé, est à moins d'un demi-heure à pied du centre d'Etretat par une petite route agréable. L'environnement du logement est très joliment paysagé.
