This beautiful villa is nestled on a hilltop in the middle of the Portuguese countryside, about 20 minutes' drive from Tavira. Villa Metacasa is ideal for families who wish to spend a holiday together in a peaceful spacious setting with privacy. The villa is situated on a plot of about 42,000 m² with spectacular views over the countryside, especially at sunset.
The terraces around the house offer extensive outdoor space both shaded or in the sun, as well as with a cosy sheltered patio. Relaxing and sunbathing is also possible on the sunbeds at the poolside!
The holiday villa is spacious and furnished in Mediterranean style. It has a large living room with a dining area and a fully equipped kitchen with a pantry. From both the living room and the bedrooms there is access to the partially covered terrace, the patio and swimming pool next to the house. The air conditioning in the bedrooms ensures a pleasant temperature in summer! The large half covered panorama terrace at the front is connected to the terrace at the side and back.
Depending on the time of day, the front or side terrace is the most pleasant. The whole terrace can be closed off by fences so that small children cannot get off it just like that. Through the side terrace is a staircase with a fence, the pool to reach. At the pool there is an outdoor shower and there are sun beds in the semi-shade of a translucent roof. There is also a small outdoor kitchenette. The pool can be closed off with gates. The size of the villa is suitable for 2 families with children.

Surroundings villa
The nearest village, a 10-minute drive away, is Santa Catarina de Fonte do Bispo, a rural village, where you can find a bakery and a small supermarket.
In a 20 minute drive you can reach Tavira. Tavira is perhaps the most beautiful town in the Algarve. Located on the banks of the Rio Gilão, which flows through the centre, Tavira radiates a friendly, almost resigned atmosphere. It is lovely to stroll through the centre, with its old Moorish quarter, squares and parks, terraces, cafés and many restaurants.
The quickest way to the beach is in Pedras d'el Rei near Santa Luzia (also a 20-minute drive). A small train takes you in 5 minutes (or 10 minutes on foot) through the lagoon and the dunes to the kilometres of golden sand. To the kilometre-long golden sand beach. The entire beach, except for one restaurant, is undeveloped.
Santa Luzia has a pleasant boulevard with numerous (fish) restaurants and cafés and a provides a taste of a very original Portuguese town.
