This is a fantastic property for groups with two separate living areas room for everyone to relax. Perfect Location for town and slopes. The hosts were great and made us feel very welcome.
We are a family of 5 persons with teenage kids. We really enjoyed this property with lots of space, great pool and activities as tennis, table tennis and table football. The property was nice and very clean and the owner was very kind. It is very easy to go to the places you want to see. Everything is very close by. We went to Zoo Marine, an orange farm, the sand sculpture festival, the beach, the small city Silves with the great fishing restaurant and we also went sailing to see the beautiful beaches and caves. It was nice to come home to the property and enjoy the swimming-pool, the silence around the property and all the space. We had a great vacation and can recommend all of it :-)

The chalet was wonderful, spacious enough to accommodate the 6 of us. Kitchen was well equipped with enough cutlery, dinnerware and pots and pans to cook for 6. Loved the shower: strong and hot!
Contact with the owner was quick and he was very helpful with providing driving directions and advice and tips.

Perfect place for a summer holiday with kids. Nino's house is steps away from a beautiful sandy beach that was uncrowded even at the height of summer vacation season. The house is spacious, clean, and comfortable, and Nino was very responsive to any questions or issues we had. Highly recommend!
The setting of the property is outstanding - on a hill surrounded by fields and woodland. Close to Sarlat, a ten-minute drive, the location is well away from the road, so there is no traffic noise and so the experience is one of peace and quiet.
We had access to the swimming pool, shared with one other rental property on the site, and there are some lovely walks across the fields and into the woodlands.
Xavier the owner is very friendly and the arrangements for our stay were well cared for. The booking process itself was very smooth.
The furnishings in the property are basic but the layout of the property inside is generous with a large reception room and dining table in the kitchen, plus tables to enjoy eating al fresco on both sides of the property so that one could have both breakfast and our evening meal in the sun!

Beautiful and large house set on the mountainside overlooking the Tyranean Sea. The house is well equipped and has plenty of space for multiple families (we had my family of five plus five additional adults...10 in total). With wifi, pool, and several large outside areas to lounge and enjoy the spectacular seaviews. Getting to the house from Sperlonga is a bit of a trek (15 min up the mountainside), but it's worth the drive.
The owners Patrick & Anne are perfect hosts, very welcoming & helpful. They have created a unique & charming holiday cottage, in a convenient location, with a good view out to sea overlooking the town (within walking distance) & next to the military cemetery.
Great chalet, well located with magnificent views all round. Well-equipped (though sheets and towels are not provided (which is usual in France but not in other countries - should be mentioned in listing)). We managed fine without a car and used both the skibus and the local chair-lifts at le Chozal to access the extensive ski slopes at les Saisies and neighbouring resorts (l'Espace Diamant). Well-run village with good local amenities and a very pleasant "welcome drink" at the "Salle Ducis" on arrival. And we had plenty of snow, good weather and marvellous walks as well as skiing.

I spent two weeks in this house and loved my stay! The house is very comfortable and well-equipped, but the best of all is its location: it is directly on the water and only 15 minutes walk from downtown Saint Omer. It was very convenient, and very very quiet, and the possibility of going out with the boat and navigate the waterways freely is just fantastic. It's a beautiful place which was really worth discovering for me. The owners of the property were also extremely nice and welcoming.
We Thoroughly enjoyed our time staying in this lovely cottage! Monsieur Lauweriere is the perfect host. Monsieur Lauweriere and his family showed us around the property when we arrived and made sure we were happy before they left. I have my own boat so were able to use a dinghy which was there when ever we wanted which was Great and allowed us to explore the area. Monsieur Lauweriere gave us a vey pleasent tour of the waterways around Le Marais Audomarois. It is a beautiful area, much like the Norfolk Broads in the UK, but in my opinion much better! There is lots to do, St. Omer is a lovely place to visit, easy parking in the lower end of the town (free!). Lille is around an hour away and i would recommend going there too.
The cottage is at the end of a lane right next to the waterways, which are full of wildlife, swans, ducks, cuckoo's herrons and much more. The cottage is laid out on two floors, the ground floor being tiled You enter through a lovely and light and airy kitchen with oven, hob, fridge freezer, coffee maker and all the plates etc and cutlery you'll need. The living room is equiped with an arm chair, sofa bed, tv with satellite and cable. The bathroom has a lovely shower, vanity unit and has a washing machine, there is a separate toilet.
Upstairs via steep stairs there are two good sized bedrooms with view across fields to St. Omer. The beds are comfortable and provided with duvets pillows and extra blankets if needed, there is a tv in one of them.
Whether you will be staying for a weekend break, or longer and visiting more of the area, this would be the perfect place to stay. Being only an hour away from the port of Calais and the Tunnel makes this a Great choice. The road from Callais is a breeze, i would recomend the Toll Road which only costs a couple of euros. Though we did go back to Calais on the non toll road which allows you to see more of the gorgeous french country side!
Summing up, i would recommend, and indeed have done to friends and family, staying in this lovely cottage! Monsieur Lauweriere really was a great host, we shared a couple of beers in the garden there and although my french is lacking, as is his english we will be keeping in touch and will Definately be staying there again.
9 of us came over for a holiday and to go to FIB. We couldn't of asked for better weather. The Villa was so spacious and housed us all comfortably. The help from the renter was above and beyond and I would recommend this villa to everyone, from family's to friends as there is so much space. It is a short drive from shops and a very short walk away from some great restaurants and bars. The pool is rigth at the back door and if you love the sun there is plenty to be had in the sun terraces at the front and back of the property. Alcossebre is a beautiful place and getting there from Reus is so easy if you get a transfer (orca services are great!). We slept so well in the villa as it was so peaceful. We will defiantly go back again for a holiday there as it was so much more than we had expected. All the facilities in the house made life so much easier and it is great value for money. All 9 of us came home knowing that we would go back and rent this villa again.
The holiday accommodation was completely satisfactory, we had enough space for 9 people. The pool was used every day :-) We had a wonderful holiday there. You can reach everything you need on foot, groceries even on Sunday :-) and there are also restaurants just around the corner. We fell in love with Garda, it has everything you need. There we took the ferry, visited Limone and even went motorboating ourselves. Also recommended at night, very romantic. We will definitely come back here, the hosts were available at all times, always very friendly and accommodating, you could ask anything at any time, we were always helped. Super nice people. Die Ferienunterkunft war zur vollsten Zufriedenheit, wir hatten genug Platz mit 9 Personen. Der Pool würde täglich genutzt:-) Wir haben einen wundervollen Urlaub dort verbracht. Mann kann zu Fuß alles erreichen was man braucht Lebensmittel sogar am Sonntag :-) und auch Restaurants gleich um die Ecke.
Verliebt haben wir uns in Garda, da gibt es alles was man braucht.
Dort sind wir mit der Fähre gefahren, haben Limone besucht und sind auch selber Motorboot gefahren.
Empfehlenswert auch bei Nacht, sehr romantisch.
Wir kommen definitiv wieder hierher, die Gastgeber waren zu jeder Zeit erreichbar, immer sehr nett und zuvorkommend, man konnte alles und jederzeit fragen, uns wurde immer weitergeholfen. Super nette Menschen.

House very well located (beaches, shops, attractions, no need to take the car), very quiet area, very well equipped house, large swimming pool not overlooked (too bad we cannot open the shelter because it It's difficult to stay there in the middle of the afternoon, fortunately the beach is not far away). The owner is attentive and responsive. The only downside is that the bedding seems dated. We had a pleasant stay (too short! :-() THANKS.
Maison très bien située (plages, commerces ,attractions, pas besoin de prendre la voiture), quartier très calme, maison très bien équipée, grande piscine sans vis-à-vis (dommage qu'on ne puisse pas ouvrir l'abri car il est difficile d'y rester en plein après-midi, heureusement la plage n'est pas loin).
Le propriétaire est à l'écoute et réactif.
Seul bémol, la literie semble datée.

A really great holiday home. There were four of us there with the whole family and we had more than enough space. A spare bedroom would have easily been enough for another two people. The holiday began with an introduction to the house and how it works. Martine showed us everything and explained it. We spent the next two weeks relaxing by the pool - with a view of the sea and the Estrel Mountains - and visiting the surrounding area. Many things are directly accessible. The car also had a safe place behind the gate with a view of the terrace and pool. We really liked it and would recommend the accommodation. Many thanks to the landlady and Martine.
Ein wirklich tolles Feriendomizil. Wir waren zu viert mit der ganzen Familie dort und hatten mehr als genug Platz. Ein freies Schlafzimmer hätte für weitere 2 Personen locker gereicht. Der Urlaub hat mit der Einführung in das Haus und der Bedienung begonnen. Martine hat uns alles gezeigt und erklärt. Die nächsten 2 Wochen haben wir dann damit verbracht, uns am Pool – mit Meeresblick und Aussicht auf das Estrel Gebirge - zu entspannend und mit besuchen der Umgebung. Vieles ist direkt erreichbar. Auch das Auto hatte einen sicheren Platz hinter dem Tor mit Blick auf die Terrasse und Pool. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen und wir würden die Unterkunft empfehlen. The house had all the amenities needed for a comfortable vacation, from the fully equipped kitchen to board games and outdoor entertainment. The location is calm but close to some good beaches, water parks and attractions. We were very well received and I will definitely recommend it to friends who are looking for a house in the Algarve for a good holiday :)
A casa tinha todas as comodidades necessárias para umas férias confortáveis, desde a cozinha completamente equipada, aos jogos de tabuleiro e entretenimento exterior. A localização é calma mas próxima a algumas boas praias, parques aquáticos e atracções. Fomos muito bem recebidos e sem dúvida recomendarei a amigos que estejam à procura de uma casa no Algarve para umas boas férias :)
