The living room offers great views of the dyke and has an extra seating area by the gas fireplace, which can be seen from all angles. The large garden surrounding the house has a partially fenced terrace, perfect for outdoor activities. This former fisherman's house on the mud flats has been completely refurbished and modernized, making it a charming and comfortable place to live
We are proud of an extraordinary place in the middle of the meadows with land and arable farming, next to the dike and the Wadden Sea. Enjoy nature here with beautiful light, peace, rhythm, and regularity. You only have to run up the dike to enjoy the expansive view. You can follow kilometers of existing walking and cycling routes across the dike. Good weather is not necessary here as the mudflats are always fantastic, and the house is lovely and warm partly because of the large gas fireplace and heating, which you can use all year round. A spacious garden that is half-fenced and, in consultation with the neighbors, can even be made completely fenced. The whole area around the house (the long dike and the Wadden Sea) is your backyard, where you can go crabbing, mudflat hiking, or dream away with the lovely view of the mudflats. Don't forget the fresh air here that instantly revives you. Entertainment is plentiful in nearby towns such as Harlingen, Franeker, and Leeuwarden
