An exceptional chalet in "Portes du Soleil" is available to rent. this is aguably the second best area for skiing in France with 650 kms of pistes at an altitude of 1100m. This chalet is located at the foohills of La Chapelle d'Abondance between Avoriaz, Châtel, and Morzine. Situated in a very sunny location it has magnificient views of the entire Val d'Abondance. There is no trafffic closeby and the chalet is therefore peaceful in addition to being comfortable and welcoming. The chalet has a fireplace, the logs are provided free of charge. The kitchenis spacious and fully equiped. There are 6 bedrooms plus a mezzanine. They come equipped with 3 large double beds, 3 single beds, 5 bunk beds and a double sofa bed.
The chalet is available for rent all year round, on a weekly basis, for week ends only, or indeed for special occasions- a caretaker is on hand for all the help that you may need. The schops are only 5 minutes away. If you like over activities such as hiking and VTT, the trail starts closeby. Befitting a grand skiing resortthere are a number of other activities organised both for winter and summer. There are 3 cinemas, swimming pool, night clubs and gastronomique restaurants. There is golf at Evian on the shores of the lake Geneva about 30 minutes away. Also closeby in Switzerland, approximately 25 minutes away there is golf and an equestrian centre from where one can go riding in the country. There is also rafting.
Le chalet est situé à 1100 m d’altitude, sur le Domaine des Portes du Soleil, 2ème domaine skiable d’Europe, Télécabine à ~800 m (liaison Torgon/Suisse, Châtel-Linga, Morzine-Avoriaz, Les Crosets/Suisse). Pistes alpines et de fond pour des skieurs de tout niveau. Différentes possibilités d’activité d’hiver: raquettes et marches, plongée sous-glace et patinoire au “Lac de Vonnes”. Et toutes les activités et animations habituelles des grandes stations alpines, sportives, culturelles ou nocturnes. Le chalet surplombe le val d'Abondance avec une vue extraordinaire sur 360°.Au calme et sans circulation automobile à proximité, confortable et chaleureux,1 cheminée. Grande cuisine équipée, 7 chambres et 2 mezzanines. Sauna, jacuzzi sur la terrasse. salle de home cinéma, équipée de matériel audio vidéo et projecteur, écran 2.40 x 3.20 . L’installation permet le branchement de tous les types de consoles de jeux ( Wii, Xbox, PS…) et de votre ordinateur portable. une salle de jeux avec billard et babyfoot. Le chalet le Pré Caro, est disponible toute l'année, à la semaine mais aussi pour les week-end au tarif de 2000€, 2 jours-1 nuit , 700€ la nuit supplémentaire. commerces à 5 mn, très bon restaurants renommés, circuits de randonnées à ski à pied ou VTT au départ du chalet. Nombreuses animations d'hiver et d'été, habituelles des grandes stations alpines.
