Charming house, on the port. Very satisfied with the equipment and the house in general. We had a great time despite the current health restrictions. The only downside is that double curtains should be provided at the top as well as on the ground floor, the port is lit and for us who live in the countryside, not used to light at night! But that does not prevent recommending this location.

Seul petit bémol, il faudrait prévoir des doubles rideaux en haut comme au rez-de-chaussée, le port est éclairé et pour nous qui vivons à la campagne, pas habitués à la lumière la nuit ! Mais ça n'empêche en rien à recommander cette location.

The rental is superb, decorated with great taste! Practical, well equipped (books, games are even made available), the house is located 1 minute from the fishing port ... The photos are obviously consistent with reality. We will come back ...

Location very well located next to the port with all the facilities for a very good stay. It would be nice to have a bigger TV! Very beautiful region with many visits around Barfleur.

Our stay at this lovely Barfleur home was perfect for us! There was plenty of room for our family of seven to sleep comfortably. The home was very clean and well stocked with all the supplies that we needed, and was situated across from the beautiful harbour and just down the street from the town, which had several wonderful restaurants and shops. Valerie was extremely helpful in setting up our stay and making sure that we were greeted upon arrival on our first day. The best part for us was the serenity of the location! Our stay was quiet and peaceful, away from the hustle and bustle of the city life that we normally live. We enjoyed putting together a jigsaw puzzle, walking along the harbour, and eating in the local restaurants, which were delicious. The home was absolutely charming and impeccably kept up. We will definitely stay there again when we return to France. The only issue for us was the distance from the American Cemetery in Colville-Sur-Mer. We were not prepared for the long drive, but at this time of year, it’s difficult to find any accommodations in Normandy so we were grateful to have a place to stay which was able to accommodate our large family. Having found Barfleur, we now see it’s charm and would definitely stay there again. One other note: this property is not set up for anyone with disabilities other than on the first floor. There is a bedroom on the first floor and a bathroom on the first floor but otherwise all of the bedrooms and bathrooms are on the second and third floors with no lift. Thank you Valerie for making our stay such a pleasant one and for welcoming us to the lovely Barfleur home!

Very nice accommodation and perfectly equipped. Its location a few meters from the port and the beach is a plus. Located in the village, it allows to enjoy the shops without having to move by car.

Very nice house, quiet and spacious. We were 8 people and enjoyed the large rooms and 2 bathrooms. Good interior soundproofing. Also note, the very comfortable heating of the house. It is around the very large table ideal for large tables that we spent New Year's Eve. The decoration is harmonious and of quality. The location of the house is also ideal, close to the village and the beach. (You can do everything on foot.) In short, a good place to remember to gather friends or family.
Maison très agréable, calme et spacieuse. Nous étions 8 personnes et avons apprécié les grandes chambres et les 2 salles de bain. Bonne insonorisation intérieure. A noter aussi, le chauffage très confortable de la maison.
C'est autour que la très grande table idéale pour les grandes tablées, que nous avons passé le réveillon du Jour de l'An.
La décoration est harmonieuse et de qualité.
L'emplacement de la maison est également idéale, proche du village et de la plage. ( on peut tout faire à pied.)
En bref, une bonne adresse à retenir pour réunir les amis ou la famille.
