Relax in this cosy little gîte to sweet sound of birdsong and a flowing stream. Little village in medium altitude mountain setting between the Diois, Baronnies and Hautes-Alpes massifs. View of Mont Ventoux and Dévoluy in clear weather. Driving over the Col de Prémol to the village will have given you a foretaste of typical Diois landscapes, enhanced by medieval villages and Coteaux de Die vineyards (producing Clairette de Die sparkling wine). Several hiking/riding trails pass through village. Within 20km radius: climbing and Via Ferrata at Le Claps (spectacular rockfall), swim and fish in Le Pas des Ondes lake, cycle along winding roads, admire La Charce castle, observe vultures at Rémuzat.
Le Diois gîte: single level accommodation on ground floor, adjoining owners' house comprising another gîte. Hall, light & airy living room (opening onto east-facing balcony) with kitchen and lounge areas (sofa bed, wood-burning stove). Bedroom (queen-size bed, single bed). Shower room/WC with disabled access. Small shared garden.
