Herblay is a "town-village" about 12 miles from Paris. Located on the banks of the Seine facing St Germain Forest, between Conflans Ste Honorine (famous for its barges) and the Frette-sur-Seine. On the one hand, Paris is very easily accessible by car (watch out for traffic!) or by train, and on the other hand, the town centre is that of a village and you can walk along the Seine for miles.
Herblay est une "ville-village" à une vingtaine de km de Paris. Situé en Bord de Seine face à la forêt de St Germain, entre Conflans Ste Honorine (Célèbre pour ses péniches) et le Frette sur Seine. D'un coté Paris est accessible très facilement en voiture (attention au trafic !) ou en train et de l'autre coté, le centre ville est celui d'un village et les promenades en bord de Seine peuvent se faire sur des kilomètres...

Getting there
Access by the A15 motorway, from the A86 or the "Ile-de-France" (N184) and the A16 motorway. Roissy is around 30 minutes away and the center of Paris too. Watch out for rush hour traffic.
The best thing to do is to leave your car and go to Paris by train. Allow for about 50 minutes door to door to most of the capital's tourist sites. 5 minutes to go to the station, 25 minutes by train, 10 to 20 minutes by public transport and a bit of walking.
Accès par l'autoroute A15, depuis l'A86 ou la "francilienne" (N184) et l'autoroute A16. Roissy est à environ 30 minutes et le centre de paris également. Attention au trafic aux heures de pointes.
L'idéal est de laisser votre voiture à la maison et d'aller à Paris en train. Comptez environ 50 minutes porte à porte vers la plupart des sites touristiques de la capital. 5 minutes pour aller à la gare, 25 minutes de train, 10 à 20 minutes de transport en commun et un peu de marche à pied.
