“Casa de Verão” lies at the bottom of the 2000 m high Serra da Estrela National Park.
This residence is on a territory of one hectare in a heaven of peace, in a magnificent surrounding with grand views, only 2 km from Coja, a town that has all kinds of facilities.
It is the perfect location to explore the country and the coastline at the Atlantic Ocean.
Discover the real Portugal with its Roman and medieval places, the rivers and waterfalls, the high mountains, the magnificent nature reserve and the green valleys. Last but not least visit the many picturesque villages where time stood still and where you can meet the friendly local population … and so much more.
We have 4 spacious bedrooms with each a private bathroom with toilet and shower.Each room can take up to 5 persons : 1 double bed and one bunkbed.
Each room has got a big private terrace with a beautiful view of the mountains and villages.
There is a fully equipped kitchen , an inside dinningroom , a covered terrace with bbq and a big open sun terrace
Swimming pool: Illuminated swimming pool. Dec.k chairs are provided.
Possibility to park motorbikes and quads in a garage.
Private parking for cars. .
Game of petanque, darts, badminton on request.
Books and boardgames available.
We can help you to organise kayaking, to make reservations at local restaurants, we provide a map with local excursions.
Meet and greet and cleaning fee 95 euros.
Please bring your own towels and sheets due to covid.

We recommend to go by plane to Porto and rent a car for your stay in Portugal. Road from airport to Coja is highway all the time until 5km from our property. Take exit "Coja/Piodoa" on IC6, follow to Coja and beyond over N342 to Arganil for another 3km. Turn left (sign post to Medas) just before entering the small village of Machorro, the B&B is immediately at your left.
