Villanovia is a conservative restoration example of a historic Tuscan farmhouse.
Originally serving as a warehouse and guard tower, the farmhouse was part of the agricultural properties of the local Bishops, as written in the registers of the XVII century. The recent renovation has preserved its original rustic charm. Its special distinctive character provides a charming, warm atmosphere.
Uniquely located on a hilltop inside one of the Tuscan protected areas, the house offers 700sm of internal living accommodation and 37 acres of private land, surrounded by an amazing 360° panorama over unspoiled Tuscany.
Perfectly located for total relaxation, it also offers short rides to historical sites and art cities. ​Ideal for families with children who enjoy the peace of nature and plenty of space. Groups can gather in the large dining room, prepare food together in the master kitchen or around the outdoor BBQ and seat all outside to enjoy breathtaking sunsets.

Villanovia è un esempio di restauro conservativo di un antico casale toscano a due piani (P0 e P1). In origine un torrione di avvistamento e deposito, che dal 1600 viene ricordata come centro agricolo di proprietà dei Vescovi. Il suo carattere distintivo offre un'atmosfera affascinante e accogliente. Situato su un poggio dentro una riserva naturale, il casale dispone di 700 mq di spazi interni e 15 ettari di terreno privato, circondato da un panorama scenografico sulla Toscana incontaminata. Villanovia overlooks a hill in the Berignone Natural Park, near the village of Mazzolla, an ancient village and just 9 KM from the historic city of Volterra.
Uncontaminated environment populated by a great variety of wild animals and birds, covered by a dense Mediterranean forest that hides ancient ruins and its rivers die in the nearby Etruscan Coast.
One of the few remaining places in uncontaminated Tuscany.

Villanovia si affaccia su una collina del Parco Naturale di Berignone, vicino al villaggio di Mazzolla, un antico borgo e a soli 9 KM dalla città storica di Volterra.
Ambiente incontaminato e popolato da una grande varietà di animali selvatici e uccelli, coperta da una fitta foresta mediterranea che nasconde antiche rovine ed i suoi fiumi muoiono nella vicina Costa degli Etruschi.
Uno dei pochi luoghi rimasti della Toscana incontaminata.
